Thomas E. Dixon, III, Esq.
Thomas E. Dixon, III is a native of Houston, Texas. Mr. Dixon graduated with first honors from Yale University in 1979. Subsequently, he graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1982 and was a member of the Texas Law review from 1980-1982.
After graduation, Mr. Dixon worked with major law firms in Washington, DC, and Houston in commercial litigation involving white-collar torts, breach of contract, antitrust, copyright, and trademark litigation.
Upon returning to Houston, Mr. Dixon was named General Counsel for the Houston NAACP. In that capacity, he was introduced to the community’s many needs, including personal injury practice. For two years, Mr. Dixon served as the managing attorney for a law firm specializing in obstetrical malpractice involving negligence during birth. He has handled mass toxic torts involving thousands of plaintiffs. He was an attorney on multiple cases stemming from the value jet plane crash in 1995 and the American Airlines crash in 2001. Mr. Dixon has handled many types of personal injury cases, including tractor trailers, slip and falls, traditional auto collisions, and products liability cases. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with case settlements totaling more than $100 million dollars.
Mr. Dixon has been a member of the Texas State Bar for over forty years. He is also a member of the Concerned Black Clergy, NAACP, Rainbow Push Coalition, and the National Action Network, which fights for justice, equality, and just compensation for our community.
